BAD KITTY RECORDING "What's new with Kitty"
dsproductions Bad Kitty INTERVIEW August 20, 2020
at dsproductions Bad Kitty recording studio
Kitty it has been said you have a dark family secret. Will you comment?
Yes my father was known as Evil Kitty. Unsure of why he was created,
" I'm not sure why I drew this" said his artist. Father was drawn, scanned
then colored in "good old paint' in 2004. Called cute by some, Evil Kitty's
creator said "Ooooo I beg to differ" They are EVIE, lol". They be creatures
most foul indeed".
You had a creator and a text design collaborator, is that right?
Yes at the time there where online sites were you got together to share
your ideas and work. My creator discovered my father's drawing there
years ago, father was just a newly drawn kitten then but he really liked
him and wanted to adopt him if he could. "Looks really cool. I really like
this one. Can I vector it" . "go for it, lol, Have a party". " Thanks". He did
have fun creating me, my color, name and vector image adaptations.
My text designer created the look of my name.
Are you still close with your father?
He escaped his creator's gallery years ago. Shows up here and there.
He did some modeling for clothing, appeared on a blog, reports of his
sightings still occur.
So Kitty what was it like to be part of a rock band?
It was solid being in 3D. Live public appearances. The Fans.
Why haven't we seen you for awhile?
I was just a house kitty hanging out on the computer screen. My kitten
was carrying on the Bad Kitty name for awhile but decided kitty stardom
was not for her.
Why come back now?
They made me.
What's next Kitty?
I've got some new music cards coming out with original material. I'm
planning some digital appearances for the upcoming releases. I've just
completed restoration work on some old 78 records, classics for heritage
projects. Two remakes a World War I song "The Highland Laddie" and
"Home Sweet Home" a song for a 100th anniversary tribute to famed
opera star Dame Nellie Melba's performance over AM radio.
Yes we have some shots here of that. Thank you Kitty and here's a few
classic shots of you. Can we put that up for the folks to see please.
